President of the Igbanke National Progressives Association, INPA, Mrs Gloria Adagbon, on Monday called on Nigerians to have faith and remain steadfast in promoting peace and unity no matter the challenges.

Mrs. Adagbon in a goodwill message to Nigerians to mark this year’s Independence anniversary said that the indivisibility of the country was not negotiable because there was no better place than Nigeria.

She also advised Nigerians to keep faith that the country would overcome the present challenges confronting it.

“I want to use this occasion of the 58th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence, on behalf of INPA, to enjoin the leadership of our nation in various fields to salute the Nigerian spirit.

“I salute the extraordinary resilience and patriotism of the average Nigerian.

‘’When all seems down and out, we always find ways of overcoming our adversaries.

“As we mark this year’s anniversary amidst the current challenges in the polity, we must keep faith that we will overcome our difficulties.

“We will ultimately triumph over our current socio-economic and political challenges.

“On behalf of all Nigerian Women, I want to use this occasion of our National Independence to call on the political leadership on the need to do more to show selfless commitment to building a strong and sustainable country,” she said.
